What Happens When Photo Is Not Cropped

I have a customer who purchased a 5x7 and an 8x10 of an image that is uploaded with a 2:3 aspect ratio. Cropping the 8x10 would lose a lot of the image, the 5x7, not so much. For the 8x10 she did NOT select a crop. The image I see in her order is attached to this post. Notice the white space down the sides.
Does this mean the image will print in full on an 8x10 sheet, with white space on the sides? It probably does, but I wanted to check before approving the order.
