This was a guest aircraft at the Flying Heritage Collection's fly day at Paine Field in Everett WA. It belongs to the Historic Flight Museum out of Bellingham WA.

Douglas A-1 Skyraider "The Proud American" piloted by Alan Anders.

    I've always been impressed by how much ordnance the Skyraider can carry....but then one tends to forget just how big that plane is. The " Jug ", in it's day, was considered huge but, as your shots show, the Skyraider is appreciably larger. Nice work.thumb.gif
