iPad app having problems with new galleries?

I love the ipad app and I use it all the time! Today I uploaded some photos to a new private/protected gallery. I also created a virtual gallery with a few of those photos for public viewing. Both galleries show up on the ipad with just a clock in the middle.

I have tried:
1. Restarting the ipad
2. Uninstalling smugmug and reinstalling it.

All other galleries still work great.
Both the public and private gallery work great on the pc (web browser).

Any advice?

I've checked every gallery setting against other galleries that work fine and they are identical.
