Reddish Egret Profile- S.W Florida

This one from earlier this season. I was blessed with an opportunity to photograph this Reddish Egret during full breeding colors. I did not include the entire bird due to distracting natural element.. I decided to go for the kill instead.

Canon 7D, Canon 800mm @ f/8, 1/1500 sec, ISO 400, 20mm tube, 580EX II with BB, Manual exposure, tripod, NIK.

Oh my that is a stunning shot. I've lived in Florida for 30+ years and still have no photographs of a Reddish Egret. :cry
