Minimum required purchase of items, amount or package

Is there a way that I can set a minimum purchase required by a client? I would like to setup a package of several images and that package MUST be purchased before they (client) can purchase anything else. I might even settle for a minimum dollar amount but a package would be nice.

The whole idea here is to make a minimum amount on each client (preschool photos). Ideally, they would purchase the package, could order other items and (be still my heart) be remembered on subsequent visits to the purchase area.

You cannot currently set a minimum purchase on an order but you could create a Coupon that is only valid once a minimum purchase amount is hit. Saving money can get people to spend more.
