That one above, it has to work. I thought it looked best w/o the large blue sky, I have it the other way, too. Other than that, full frame.

I am confused as to whether the photos have to be like another subj such as a landscape, seashore, park shot that just happens to have a flying object, or whether it can be as the above one in with the background placing the flying object as the subject.

The title to the above might be:

"Yeah, we know it is a beautiful day, but it is already almost noon, bring on the breakfast already!"

The people were pouring in to buy live crabs...... I used to love them til I cooked them for my daughter and her husband once 20 yrs ago. The fuss she made about the crabs, well I would hate to cook her shrimp. I still like shrimp, don't feel like a murderer there.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks, Ben. I know like the top one works, it is the best I have at the moment, but I like the second one, too. Those, tighter, with the bird really the subject, I don't know if they work.

Nice to have you up "late". Of course in California, you are on weird time. The sun probably just went down.rolleyes1.gif

Jeff, that cannot be! you get birds all the time, just pull back the exact right amt rolleyes1.gif , and take a perfect shot including just enough of the background.

I went with the 70-200 lens, you know, shorter. I have done that a lot in the last two days. It did not work with me. I have some very strange looking blobs in my photos, unless it was the right lens for the moment. A few times it was. But mostly on individual birds sitting around looking pretty, but too close for my long lens.

but you must have landscapes to have all those good bird shots. Also, you don't "win" in this contest. As I anticipate it, you only get critiqued all to pieces.:D You know, a learning experience.rolleyes1.gif

well, i have done a lot of shooting, don't know that i will tomorrow at all.

Still might go to McClellanville again on Monday, by myself, want to check out a few things. I will look out for the assignment thing, but that is not what I am primarily interested in.
