Interesting shot but this one doesn't work for me. The background is too bright for my taste. Its a very interesting idea and I would try it again. It has the potential to produce some knockout shots down the line.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

i posted a bird not quite that bad once, smile. they don't like it here. actually, i am not crazy about yours, the reason being the lack of contrast. High key has some very specific "rules", but I don't know what they are. That however is not high key, smile.

I have some shots, not flying ones so not worked up yet, with the great rim lighting you can get from backlighting. so as harry says, keep doing it!

    It's gone?

You aren't mad at me, are you? It was late at night, etc.

That is the only excuse I can think of. I just felt safe enough with you to say that. It is a compliment...............backhanded, but in some ways.......

    Oh, hell, I am sorry,

Since Ben's pic is gone here's one of my less than stellar shots

    16659868.jpg

I think I broke the record for the largest number of blown out egrets in one shot here. This was taken on my first trip to Florida with my ole 717.
