12 hours later, Here's the post.
This morning I had breakfast with Helddown (he should post a similar post soon with *his* perspective from it).

Here's how it went:

We went to Golden Griddle for the 11.99$ breakfast, I had my camera bag with me to show him some photos... but it wasn't long before we were snapping away :wink
CRW_7877.jpg

and stuffing our faces with plate after plate of delicious breakfast... :thumb
CRW_7882.jpg

Unflattering photos of myself... with my own camera nonetheless!
(There's gotta be rules against this...:scratch)
CRW_7883.jpg

Artistic fruit!
CRW_7886.jpg

What's this? A cupcake, left all alone without anyone to care for it? :cry
CRW_7896.jpg

Helddown cares about it, it's his next model... :wink
CRW_7898.jpg
(work that sexy brown icing!)

Next, a swing by yonge street, on the way to dundas square... :):

Pidgeons? :dunno
IMG_7914.jpg

Pidgeons! :huh
IMG_7916.jpg

BIF! PIF? PEV? PTV?! :rofl
IMG_7931.jpg

Some jazz club streetfronts... (the famous senator...)
IMG_7937.jpg

Giving a homeless man some change in exchange for some photos... (I took 2... helddown took about 30...)
:flash
IMG_7939.jpg

Every time I walk by this vent, I seem to take a photo, and there's a different subject sleeping on it... :D
IMG_7948.jpg

Helddown playing with a fine peice of ... glass. :rolleyes
IMG_7950.jpg

A quick purchase... can you guess what it was? :uhoh
IMG_7951.jpg
(52mm +1 +2 +3... if that isn't obvious enough.)

Photog taking a quick photo... but not quick enough to escape me and Helddown and his new lens... (that's right! New glass!) :wink
IMG_7952.jpg

We managed to get him a 55-200 4.5-5.6 USM... used. Tag price: 161.99. We got it for 100$+Tax. :clap
IMG_7954.jpg

I was playing with a 2x extender on my 50mm. Interesting results, though I didn't really understand the light loss and DOF changes and such... :dunno
IMG_7957.jpg

That's pretty much all I've got...

It was a great breakfast, I'm hoping to do this more often, you all should as well, and post photos :-)

Everything's fun when you add ridiculous cameras ^_^

Now we wait for HeldDown's view from the same breakfast, and morning of shooting!

This one is so unbelievably cool! Like you mounted a camera on the head of another bird and took this picture during takeoff. :D

This one makes me sad. Great use of BW / color!

The shot with the muffin makes me hungry! :):

Thank you andreas! For that first one, literally, we chased pidgeons around with the cameras reached as close to their tails with continuous on :gun2 . If only i'd remembered to turn off the manual exposure rolleyes1.gif

The second one takes advantage of a neat quick feature in my photo-organizing software (picasa), which does a circular b&w. Luckily, against grey concrete, you can't see the halo of the B&W circle.
