Image Positions

I've been trying out the smugmug.images.changePosition method (API 1.2.2). I'm trying to change the position of an image within an album using that method, but it doesn't seem to actually change the position when viewing the album on the SmugMug website. The album sort method setting is set to sort by Position. I tried to follow the call to changePosition with a call to the smugmug.albums.reSort method, but the reSort method fails every time with Error 12 (invalid sort method).

Also, I know SmugMug added the capability to custom sort albums with collected images. Can this be done using the API? The changePosition method doesn't include an AlbumID parameter so I wasn't sure whether this is yet possible.

    I am having the exact same issue! Any luck? I tried sending reSort some extra arguments like "SortMethod=Position" and "Method=Position" and the like but to no avail.
