Jeff, your birds are not the same species as mine. Mine know all about lures.............and they are not having any. Besides that, they go to the docks, the shrimpers feed them, and the shrimpers don't try to pet them or take their photos either.

Remember though, Harry has that tree! Magical tree it is. That is enough for him, IMO.

You know the Bald Eagle, the thing I will see a mile away, but it sits on a stump for Harry.

Oh, nice Kingfisher. I have a small bird, haven't worked it up, been busy on the assignment. I don't "see" Kingfishers. They are here, I got one a while back, so they have to be here, I just don't see them. Heck, when I went to the nature place, I hardly saw any birds at all.

I have a map to a place over an hour from here, the Ace Basin, if anyone has heard of it. I don't want to drive there by myself, scared of car problems or something, and Bill is working for the next week, don't know about the next weekend. But first day off, I want to go there. Right on the nice huge map it says the birds are there in the fall and winter, in particular.

Of course it might take me awhile to find the right tree stump. Hey, maybe you could send lures to me. I find a stump and set out the lure in a trail to the stump: train the D birds.......
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Nice shot Jeff. I almost had one Sat., it landed 25 feet in front of my blind but stayed only 3 sec.:cry In
and out in a flash. Leason learned, use the stupid remote and turn camera there. Would of had a shot
in 1.5 sec. because I'd prefocused and switched to maual on that exact landing spot. DW and I
were in the blind 3 hours before it came in. I told her NG photogs sit maybe days in blind just to get
    that one great shot.

you are very right the kingfisher [as well as some birds] have habits the 2 spots I have found with KF they will go to a few spots but unlike you I have no patience or a pretty wife to share my blind so I hunt .They are fast ,fly in an erratic manner and do not like co. so all in all any KF shot is a good KF shot . good luck Allen and we will wait for your shot that is sure to come so far we Have good shots by Trish, G ,that guy what's his name headscratch.gifne_nau.gifheadscratch.gif oh yea Ben and myself I think Harry just does not what to share his :D good luck and thanks
