Use of non-alphanumeric characters in tags?

Is it possible to use characters apart from a-z and 0-9 in tags?

I've got several galleries of railway photographs from Switzerland, and want to tag them with locomotive classes. The Swiss railways use designations like "Ae6/6", but if I put that as a tag, I get "Ae6" and "6" as separate tags, which isn't what I want. Putting double-quotes round the tag has no effect.

Is this a bug in Smugmug, or a limitation we just have to live with?

Sorry, we can't allow slashes in the keywords, I wish I had a better answer for you :(
This: http://smu.gs/nMhs59 "Apostrophes, periods, and underscores are valid characters. However, slashes and hyphens are not and will be stripped from the keyword."

    Andy,

In that case you do have a bug. Hyphens do get stripped, so in my concert photographs, "Anne-Marie Helder" becomes "annemarie helder". But "Ae6/6" doesn't become "Ae66", it becomes two tags, "Ae6", and "6".

That's the way we'd handle it after the slash - I'm sorry.
