I like this shot a lot. I can just feel what's happening here...the artist is tired, has stopped to sip a little wine, and is contemplating the work that's been done. The body language, even as limited as it is, tells a powerful story.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thanks! I believe you are spot on as this was the late afternoon of the second day of this street fair.
You can tell you're in the Bay Area when the street artists are drinking from stemware. I think I would have liked to see a little more of the chalk at the lower right to make the story clearer.

Yeah, those "white wine drinking 49er fans" messed it up for everyone...:D
My intended story is actually more of having her hair and her clothes coloring matching her work of art, which is why I shot from the back. I actually feel that her color matching, the glove, and her hand and clothes having the chalk on them gives enough indication that she is the artist...

Well, depends on timing and perspective... Less in the glass means more in her and sooner for a refill.
Thanks!
