Surprisingly small, so much as I hadn't noticed it!

Checking back through the caterpillar images just recently taken, I was surprised that I overlooked this - the first one I took but rejected because I thought it was too "straight on" but on second inspection tonight, I realised that there was an extra subject in the image. Not 100% in focus on it, as I was concentrating on the caterpillar, but if you consider the size of the central critter, you can appreciate why I hadn't noticed the tiny mite!
