Hi you'll,

Other than this boy needs to find a life real fast what does 5000 posts mean. Actually nothing at all. But being a numbers type of guy I figure I should note it in some manner. One of the real positives of this hobby/obsession are the fine folks I've met and shot with along the way.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Congratulations, Harry. And I remember when you started, but you take care of your forum very well. Lots of posts. No orphans!

What are those Nikon people doing on a platform at the beach? Do they not allow photographers? Which is the disignated "zoo" area there: the beach goers or the photographers?

What are you doing to celebrate today, besides working on your next 5,000 posts?

    Thanks Ginger,

Thats not a platform just a walkway to the beach that they were hogging. They were trying to get shots of the para-surfers.

I think I'll have a couple of Coronas to celebrate this non-event. :D

Not to worry, there is no hope. :D If we pick up our posting pace we can pass Ginger for the most Dgrin posts. We would still be behind Andy of course.

5000 posts !!! Holy pineapple pizzas, Batman!!!

Fantastic effort Harry; Not only for passing the milestone (or any stone for that matter), but for your contributions. I doubt there is a single person in this forum that doesn't look at your shots. Consider yourself patted on the back for your efforts. Now go get that corona, sit on the porch and watch the world go by for a few minutes.
