    Great shot.

What were the colors like? A desert sunrise/sunset like that often has fabulous colors, with the blue of the sky and the reds, oranges, or purples of the sun on the clouds contrasting against golden light on the desert floor. I'd like to see the color version of this one.
What I said when I saw the Grand Canyon for the first time: "The wide ain't wide enough and the zoom don't zoom enough!"

Jeffro, Islandcrow, WillCAD, thanks very much. WillCAD, one disadvantage of strong backlighting is that it tends to wash out color. They weren't very attractive.

This is awesome! I love your conversion into B/W here! Nice tones and the slight coloring to it looks great!
