Kenko Tele Converter and Lightroom Lens Profile Corrections

I have a Nikon 70-200 VR II 2.8 and I just picked up a Kenko Pro 300 DG 1.4X TC.

Does the Kenko distort the image? If I use the Lightroom lens profile correction option, does the Kenko throw off Lightroom so the correction will not be accurate?

Thanks,

MD

I haven't used the Kenko, but, generally TCs distort lenses, (especially CA) and there is no reason to think that the Kenko is any different. Whether that difference is significant enough to affect your final vision is up to you to decide.

You could always create a custom lens profile: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/lensprofile_creator/
