Impact of Reorganizing Galleries

What would be the impact to reorganizing some of my galleries where I have external links?
I want to do some house cleaning with my galleries by changing some categories and sub categories.
I am assuming the url will be impacted for the gallery and images?

Will my old links to the images and LB galleries be lost? Or is there some magic in smugmug that maps the old links to the new?

Hi Dee,

Embedded photos wouldn't be affected. Neither are gallery links if you included the gallery ID and key that's part of a gallery link like this:
http://www.deezunkerphotography.com/Portfolio/New-Mexico-Landscapes/18530153_zV7sw6
18530153_zV7sw6 is the galleryID_key from the above link. As long as that's included in the link, it would still work even if you changed the category / subcategory or name of the gallery.
