Went fishing this weekend. During the midday time, I drive the backroads
to try to find some wildlife. Not much for wildlife this weekend, but some
nice colors.

Canon 300d with either a Canon 28-135is, Tamron 18-200, or Sigma 80-400os.

Stay on the road.

    Dave...that last shot....
...is definitely a keeper! Just tell me, if your wife had a choice of keeping you or that fish, would she hesitate?

jest kidding...looks like an enjoyable fall day...

The fish is just fine. I returned her to the lake.:D
For that matter, on this lake we return them all, including this one.

The bass was 5 1/4 pounds, the northern 6 1/2 pounds.

    Sam, Darryl, thanks.

The colors were at peak last weekend.
Sunday morning there was a frost, and the leaves were really dropping.
I'm going back next weekend, but I have a feeling the colors will be on the
    ground.

Most depressing moment of the weekend, I was on the way home, via the backroads.
I come up to the top of a hill and saw 4 large birds feeding on rode kill.
Of course, it was 2 adult bald eagles, with their 2 immatures with them.
Needless to say, by the time I stopped the car, they all took off.

Next weekend will be my last chance for the albino doe also. My brother
got some pics of her a while back, but he hasn't seen her for some time.
Bow hunting started, I would think she sticks out like a sore thumb.

    Sorry for the long post.

Didn't get a single good shot of any of them. This is the best one.

One more from the lake. (canon s1 is) 4 pic pano.

    Thanks again.
