Finally got a chance to use my new Compaer pro and lensbaby sweet 35 optic yesterday. CC alway welcome. This lens sure does have a learning curve. Thanks for looking. I did crop some for a different look.

Very nice efforts. Have to admire what your eye is looking for and making every effort to get it. :D
1 and 3 are pretty right there for me. 1 being tops as you have it up front. thumb.gif Interesting comp selections to either. On the right side of things for impact/ balance... well.... tough to say. Dicey things these can be per given image. :D

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback very much. I usually shoot macro, and landscapes, so I have gotten in the habit of everything being sharp. So this really out on limb for me. The lensbaby composer pro is really a fun lens, I also have the pinholed along with the sigle optic plastic and the single optic glass inserts. Getting what I want into focus is the biggest challenge with the lens.

I like them very much, especially the first one. I really like the effect and colors.
I've been thinking of getting a Lensbaby, is it as nice as it seems?
Anyway, keep up the good work!

Thanks The Composer Pro and Sweet 35 optic are really nice. They have a reall good solid feel. I take them everywhere I go with the camera. When Using my K5, I just switch to full manual mode, and go from there. I am hoping that next spring here in Texas we actually have flowers (blue bonnets), And I can really play with it. I bought the lens to use for some of my work at local vineyards. I wanted to use it for the grapes and events. I have had a tough time with the other optic inserts though. The single plastic and single glass optics work fine. The sweet 35 will give you very sharp focused area, but the optic systems are made to create a soft look. Using the drop in aperture rings are really easy, but my problem is getting used to the soft look. It is hard for me to seperate a soft look from blurry out of focus. here is another shot I took at a local vinyard in B/W. The sweet 35 works great indoors and in low light

Yeah, I'm the same way as far as an image being soft or out of focus, I do a lot of action in my business so I like my images sharp. But I think Lensbaby would be fun to play around with.
    Best of luck!

Thanks again, it is a lot of fum to play with. Actually It has helped my understand light, and since you shoot manual, You really have to pay attention to what you are doing, as opposed to just shooting in AV mode.
