Misty Mountain Morning

Woke up at the campsite at Crater Lake NP with the intention of photographing Crater Lake at sunrise. There was not a cloud to be found, and the sunrise was not looking too promising. Nonetheless I hiked out to the rim, but what really caught my eye was the misty mountains to the west (directly behind me). So I took out my long lens and composed a few shots. This particular one was my favorite, shot about 30 minutes before sunrise. I like the soft glow in the sky, mixed with the cool hues and misty lines on the Cascade range in the distance. Thanks for looking!
