Website Is Now Slow With IE 9

My website www.davidgfisher.com now responds slowly since I installed IE 9. I notice some other smugmug sites run slow as well. Specifically, when I chose a thumbnail, it takes longer to appear in a larger size to the right of the thumbnail collection. Also, the small box with the various size choices that appears when you move the mouse over the main photo now takes up to 5 seconds to appear, when with IE 8 it popped up instantly. Is this a known issue with IE 9, and is there a solution?

Are you running any addons in IE9? Your site screams for me in IE9, Win7.

No addons. If it's working fine for others than that's what is most important. I'll try and figure out what's happening on my end. Thank you.
