Back at it, at a very interesting challenge. I'm really interested in the challenge, so I wanted to get started right away. I personally like the motion-type shots, so naturally, I had to work on them.

From this afternoon/evening.

1) Turning Green

2) Water Bulb

3) Foggy Rain (I walked outside, and my camera was pretty cool from being inside. It was raining out, very humid, so the front element fogged up. I decided to see what I could do with it.)

4) No Title

5) Waterfall (rain helped this effect)

6) Slide

7) Enjoy Life (a cutting board of my wife's)

Ok, now i'm kinda seeing what to do for some of the motion stuff. I just posted also, but have no idea if it falls into the theme or not. I like #8 the best out of this set. :B

See. I just do not see how I'm going to judge this. I see no way to rank these images. They certainly all reflect the motion effect he's doing more recently. They are all pleasant to look at. This one (the challenge itself) will take some time to process.

By voting with your gut - whatever causes you to have the most feeling of "WOW" or just plain calm, is probably the best way to judge abstract type images.

silversx80 - my favorite here is #6 I have a feeling my government might want to buy it for a few $ mwink.gif(click the $ sign to understand)

I love #8... it looks as if you're looking up at raindrops falling from the canopy... 2, 3, and 7 are all good picks too. I'm personally not a fan of the all green shots - I know it's abstract, but when I look at the vertical lines it just takes me from top to bottom of the short-side of the picture, and doesn't hold a lot of other interest.

I had a chance to take a few more for the challenge. Our shower curtain (the wife picked it out) was interesting me this morning for the challenge.

I think #8 is my favorite.... I like #9 as well, since it's a different perspective on the theme but it works.

Of the shower curtain series I like #2 & #4 - colors, swirl effect and the off-center focus point. GP

Thanks again for all the comments. Seeing what everyone else is posting up to date, I see I've got a huge challenge just to become competitive. Back to the drawing board.
