Mounting Photos

Hello,

I friend has asked for several 5x7 dog photos so he can thumb tack them to a bulletin board in his kennel. He is a professional dog trainer.

I would like to help him create a more eye catching display. I do plan to send him a digital frame and and a card so he can run a slide show but I wanted to honor his request for "real" photographs.

One answer is a "collage" type frame but they look to heavy and very amateur. The best suggestion I have had so far is to send him a bunch of individual frames that a very thin and low impact so he can mount and arrange photos on the walls wherever he likes.

Do you all have any ideas for an eye catching photo display?

They do not have to be 5x7 or even the same size. I am thinking about 20 or so pictures but that could be more.

Thanks, Joel

I think you probably have the best idea with the individual frames. All mounting methods have their merits, but I couldn't really pick any without knowing the environment the photos are gonna be placed in.

I'm guessing these are for his clients? Are they gonna be spread across multiple rooms? 20+ pictures feels a little overwhelming to me.

    Thank you for the reply...

Answer is that it is a small waiting room area with three small walls. I think I am going to get some frames from Walmart that have a very small black frame surround and let him decide which photos he would like to display. Are 5x7's too small?

    Appreciate your ideas.
