Final Approach...Canadian style...et al
Had an extra hour or so this morning between wifely assignments, so I headed to the local lake. Usually, I have to settle for the local population of geese ducks, and swans. Earlier in the year there were a few great blue herons as well. Hope you enjoy...Regards...Keith
Here's the Canadian landing approach - great form if you ask me...
And just as I was getting ready to leave, this osprey broke out of the trees - of course, just after I finished playing with a teleconverter and took it off the camera. So these are heavily cropped and the sky was very cloudy...
And I think was prompted him to fly out of the trees was this guy...but I can't id him yet....any thoughts?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
I think the osprey was lost - very stiff winds today around these parts - even the geese were getting blown all over the place, and they're pretty strong. Any idea what that last bird was?
Here's one more from today - got a few good swan shots also...
