    I like the contrast of the warm and cool colors. Did you try a shot at a slower shutter speed to try and capture some movement in the wiper blade?

    That would have been a good idea. The blade was actually stopped, but I could have turned it on, obviously.

    I think the oprange and the turquoise really make the shot. I do not think it would be near as appealing in B&W or some other colors.

    Yes!! Do give yourself a promotion. This is a really good image and very perceptive of you to "see" it. I think it's great as is and I don't think that having the wiper blade in motion would do it. The sharp blade in contrast to the textured patterns on the glass is what really makes it a strong image and the soft color in the background are beautiful. This is very creative and it's the sort of thing that I'd print and frame and put up in my house somewhere.
