Hello Guys,

So the whales have been working their way back to Ketchikan from places like Juneau, and Glacier Bay. Most them are feeding before starting to make their way back to Hawaii. We saw 9 humpbacks today but here are some pictures over the last couple days.

I lived in Hoonah for a year and always felt privileged to view these amazing creatures at False Bay bubble feeding every night.

Here are a couple pictures of us almost getting ate by humpback whales. I don't think you get much closer than this. We were waiting for whales to bubble feed, when we realized that there were bubbles coming up next to our little skiff. We started seeing herring jump around and realized we were in the humpback ring of fire. We had to jet out of that area really quick, then I was able to snap off these two photographs.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Awesome shots Jeremy! Reminds me of all those wonderful whale watches I went on when I lived in the northeast.
