Hi everyone,

Still getting over a nasty cold and have not been out shooting at all in almost 2 weeks! I thought you might like to see a map of where harry and I do most of our bird shots.

Andy, I think the food is very fresh fish, you can dive for it. That is the way it is around our "wetlands", marshes.

ginger (grasshoppers are said to be very good, in addition to the fish.) Lots of water around.
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

Trish, why is there a parking lot if you can drive through? You can drive through, can't you? The "one way" would not apply to walking,rolleyes1.gif .

Where is the tree with all of Harry's raptors?

Can you pull your car off the side of the road, so others can get by? It annoys me when people pull up behind me when I am stopped on the road to take a picture. I like to pull off, so they don't scare the birds with their horns.

Lots of folks walk through the area (they ain't lugging a 500mm lens with them). The parking area is closed now due to the caracaras building their nest in the area. THE TREE is by the central hang out area just south of the observation deck.

Nope...no place to get food, coffee or pee! But a mile up the road is just about any place you can think of for food.

    ginger,
I am not sure why the parking lot is there. We use it as a gathering spot sometimes. There is just barely enough space to pass another car. It's not like this place has traffic, Ginger. many times you are the only person out there....and many times I go the wrong way on the one way:D
