Feed images to native iPhone app

Hi fellow smuggers, I am working hard on a custom iPhone app (native, not web based) and have had the hardest time trying to figure out how to feed either catagories, complete galleries, and/or specific images within a gallery to the app. When I do get it to work, so far, it just looks like Smugmugs default green mobile app. Any thoughts or suggestions?
