These are just samples to see what you think. I don't know if I'm going to use them or not.

Although I think you may be testing tech, the subject matter in these are not grabbing me.
But, I think the technique is right on. It shows up better on the tractor image. I'd consider using that formula if you re-shoot.

    BTW.....Happy Happy... :o)

I agree...the shots of the people might work better processed in a more traditional way. The tractor looks cool...like it!

I'm really digging the tractor........ok, bad joke. But seriously, the effect is definitely in theme from my opinion. I think a nice sky would really help this image out. :B

Okay, so I got the technique, just need better subject matter? The shame of it is that I went to Shanksville today for the Memorial. The field was nothing but a muddy mess and there was very little to shoot. I did get some shots of Bush and Clinton, but can't use them for this challenge.

    Thanks, Paul!

I played with the tractor and added some clouds for the heck of it.

Nice! Funny how that simple addition makes an entirely different image.

As I was scrolling through the responses, I was thinking the sky would make a world of difference... and it did! Nice effect!

There was some sky in the original shot, but the processing effect I used took most of it out. I added a much stronger sky and it worked out better.

Worth entering, or should I get back out there?

the latest version of tractor with sky is great. If you like it, it is entry-worthy.

I like it, but there is a chance I could do better. You know how that goes!

If you have the time and feel you can do better, then go for it. But at least you have a fall-back entry.

It's a great shot. Back-up or not! I would check with Sean, though, about whether a layered sky from a different photo (assuming that's what you've done here) is within the rules for the challenge.

I really like your tractor shot, especially with the enhancement of the added clouds.

The clouds made the shot! I think you could definitely enter that one......

Nope - Bill's right. If I add the clouds, that makes 3 shots I'd need to EXIF which is against the rules for this challenge. Thanks, Bill.

    Back to the drawing board!

Too bad, because I really liked the tractor with clouds too! At least you caught it before entering. GP
