There is some really pretty stuff coming from this challenge!!

I took these shots before I knew what the challenge was, so I played with them this morning...

I hope to get out and do some other shooting this week, but its a busy one--my granddaughter was born on 9-10-11 but is in NICU for few days --on one side of the metro area, and my MIL is in a hospital at the entirely opposite end of the metro area, so the driving back and forth has been keeping me from shooting... (baby photos not happening yet, sniff....)

Adding this ....got up to the hospital today for a bit before work. Baby Layla arrived 6 weeks early; she is in the NICU but had two bottle feedings this morning! She seems to be doing well. Had to 'sneak' in my pocket camera as opposed to my 'real' camera. Orton is a good option for this as I was able to soften up the IV holes and bruises in her head. We covered the NG tube and the IV in her arm for this shot, which I am printing and bringing to my MIL tomorrow so she can have a photo of her first great grandchild!

I like them both...but will agree with the others that I like #2 for this challenge a bit better. Nice lighting! Best wishes for your grand-daughter and your mother-in-law.

I like the second one better, it has more positivity to it. Wish you success with the contest and with other ongoing events.
