Really. Some days are special. Everything comes together. Some days the light is right, some days the kids are being kids, some days I feel like taking the camera.... today they all came together.

Nothing contrived... just some real stuff that happened this afternoon.... all with the 20d and 50 1.4. Sorry for so many, just making up for lost time. :-)

Tell me about it Andy... I'm already starting to lift weights and target practice so I'm ready to fend them all off. A guy with a camera ain't gonna scare any of them off...

Thanks Andy. She's growing up so quickly, and is just the sweetest little girl. More inquisitive, thoughtful, and sensitive than most adults I know, for sure.

My boys aren't too bad, either. :-)

I was just thinking about that the other day... I should dig that out. I have no idea where it is, though. bncry.gif

She can have the keys after she starts the Abstinence Club at her school. icon10.gif

Thanks guys... I take so many swing shots that I was trying to think of something just a bit different. This is my neighbors daughter... I gave her a print at the bus stop today and just kept staring at it. That's good, I think.

    Hey Jim,

Asalways its a pleasure to view your work. Boy has Bergen grown! They grow up way to fast. I asked my eldest granddaughter Jennifer how it felt being 10 years old. She said "grandpa I feel so old!"

As usual, Jim...your shots are so inspirational! I love the different angles and viewpoints you come up with. You manage to take the "common" things of life and make them so universal to the human experience. Thanks for sharing these wonderful images of childhood with us and reminding us of what it's like to be a kid all over again. Great stuff, beautiful kids, pure joy! God is in His Heavens and all is well with the world~

Jim, I always enjoy your "in the moment" shots best. These are especially good. The two re-posted above are also my favorite of the bunch.
