Did you crop #1? If so I think it would work better if you had some of the shore line and some trees if there are any.
With that said I like #1 the best myself. I love the affect on water.

I think #1 has good potential. Wonder if playing with the contrast or bumping up the dark would help it a bit? Not sure, but I like that one best.

I like #5 - the glow is a great effect.

No, don't scrap! I love #5--the light and the blur-- but I'm not crazy about the title.

I think there is another entry somewhat like your ducks, so that might make your decision easier. I felt that #1 was your strongest option (based on what I was drawn toward) but I also like #5. Can you reduce the noise a bit further? Another title might also help as the shot seems a bit moody for the current one. Good luck with it! I think most of us are scratching our heads about which shot to enter....

headscratch.gif Yeah, what's up with that? I am usually pretty sure about what I want to enter. This time, I am just stumped. I know exactly what to do, but keep going in different directions.

Does #5 have noise? I didn't notice that (I hate noise). I think I need stronger glasses again.

I'm seeing a bit of noise, chromatic aberration or something.... Look at her temple, around her ear, along her arm, just behind her back, etc. It should be less obvious when it comes time to vote because the image will be smaller than the size I'm looking at.

Hard to know what the Orton effect process created and what may be high ISO. (I didn't look at the info for your image.)

Hope you can get it (or another shot) to your liking!

I like the way #1 cleaned up! More definition while retaining the dreamy feel and Orton-ish glow. It's my favorite of the three.

#1 isn't showing up for me, but if it's #5 from the first post, I liked that one best!

I'm not a fan of 2 - not Haloween yet!

REALLY like #3. it's got a great feel to it.

I think you're really onto something in using the Orton effect on interesting light such as #1. It's definitely your strongest. And I like the idea of the strings quite a bit.....would love to see more drama with that one.....
