This couple contacted me to shoot their wedding because they knew me from my days of shooting dirt bike racing, which is where they met. It was a fun easy going wedding that had a young and exciting theme to it. I hope you enjoy and of course you are welcome to critique all you want.

Nice work...just one nit...next time, bring a better hanger for the dress...it kills the dress shot when you hang a nice wedding gown on a Wal-Mart hanger.

Favorite is 16...nicely captured...even with his hand in front of her face.

Great stuff, really nice job.
I see the groom really likes his dirt bike for it to make it into the group shot! lol
I would have to second the hanger issue. We usually bring a few different "nice" hangers with us. It can really pull together a dress shot.

These are great. Great tones, exposure, and very sharp. Wow! The cheap hanger is a bummer, but I doubt it will bother the bride since she's probably the one who put it on it.

As was said...wooden...or they make nice padded cloth ones with lace...or without.

I'm shopping for the stuffs/props/etc for the weddings next year.

The couple I did a shoot for, got 4 more couples for me who are insisting on working with me. I guess, I am transitioning (or expanding) into weddings too, now..

Thanks for all the props everyone. I was so bummed when she came out with the dress on that hanger. I have decided to bring my own hanger from now on just for that reason. The dirt bike in the pic was my idea actually. They met at a race where the brides brother was racing against the groom. He came over after the race to congratulate him and met his sister. Racing has been a big part of their life and still is. So, I felt his bike need to be implemented somehow. When I told them what I wanted, they were like wow, that's crazy, but it will so work. I did use light on 13 and 14.

I loved this series! You really captured their personality. The shots are fun, relaxed and trendy without being forced. Fitting the bike into a shot was awesome. I met my husband via our love of weight lifting and we were married in our gym, in the squat rack ......everyone thought we were nuts until after and then they understood. Knowing your couple can make the photos that much better.
