Post your best picture from your HS Football this year with horrible lighting conditions. No flash allowed!! I was on the 10 yard line shooting towards the opposing sideline in the worst corner light wise on the field.. The light pole had 4 of 16 out and it was cloudy about 9 pm. My settings on my 7D are 5000iso 1/640 and 2.8.. Canon 7D hand held with a 70-200 2.8 Canon..
This is a straight JPEG image export from LR3 of the original RAW image so you see how bad it is..
Let's see what everyone has...

Yes I have, been on here for a while, actually tried it for a game a while back. Not my type of shooting, I see a bunch of folks that it works for and they make great pictures.

1D Mark IV ISO: 4000 f3.2 1/320 @200mm (70-200 F2.8 L non-IS)processed in NIK Define
I've not posted in this section before but I have a few.
1. 1d3 1/500 ISO 6400 70-200 2.8L non IS.
2. 1d3 1/500 ISO 6400
3. 1d3 1/500 ISO 6400 Sigma 120-300 2.8 with 1.4x extender.
I can only guess, but the first one I think was around midfield and I was probably on the 30 yd line. The second one was a TD run shot from the endzone.
