    I think the color on the top one looks a little washed out and his face looks soft to me.

    thanks for the feedback, Jim. You're right, I'm not quite as happy with the guy as I could be, despite the fact that I already boosted saturation and contrast a bit. don't want to go too far and make him look wonky, but perhaps it could stand a little more. or maybe it's just not shot that well to begin with icon10.gif

    Yeah the one of the girl in the guard is great.

    The only thing that might make the photo a smidgen better is to have the band in the background blurred out.
    Sometimes you want a clean background, sometime the background can give you a sense of place.

    I know what she is doing but I have spent summers on a bus touring around the country with corps...others may not.

    thanks for the feedback, good point - it could have a hard time standing alone.
    I'll see if I can get Leilah to move over in front of the band next time :):

    or if you can you can just move yourself so the band is in the background.
