From our recent trip to Alaska.
1. - This little bird hung around our campsite in Denali National Park for 2 days.

2. - Stopped by a small lake south of Denali NP to watch the birds.

5. - Salmon attempting to climb the Russian River Falls

6. - Grizzly cub fishing on the Russian River late in the evening. It was very dark, ISO 12,800.

7. - Mother grizzly watches over her cub while teaching him to fish on the Russian River.
Unfortunately I couldn't get a clear shot through the trees of the cub with her before they moved farther down the river.

8. - Bald eagle passes in front of Holgate Glacier.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Wow, these are amazing! I like the creative framing of #6. I recently returned from Alaska to (southeast coast cruise with Carnival) and while I didn't see anything near this kind of wildlife, I did see some whales! Check out my whale pic if you want, it's here

We saw all the wildlife we did because we flew into Anchorage and spent the week camping so we could be in the right areas at the right time. No cruse schedule to follow.
The curse would have been a lot easier and 10 times less exhausting, but we saw a lot more stuff traveling around on our own.
