Elias Ambuhl Shot for Red Bull

Been a while since I posted on here. I was in Austria doing an internship with the Red Bull Photofiles guys. It was a good experience, but didn't learn quite as much as I would have hoped. Anyways, one of the shoots I got to do was of an up in coming free skier named Elias Ambuhl. We only had about 1h to shoot, and not many places to go, but I got a few decent shots. C&C is always welcome =)

    These are great!!! 3 would have been perfection with a better expression, but the planking at the end made me Laughing.gif! I'm sure he loves these!

    Good stuff. Not sure about 2. I think I really like it, creative framing..at the same time the framing is a bit distracting but kind of in a good way.

    Any way giving 2 a tentative thumbs up FTW on this set.

    Considering this is, ostensibly, images to help advertise an energy drink - I'd say #5 is the best shot for that. It even shows what happens when the redbull wears off, and you literally crash on the floor. Of course, not sure if the marketing types would want to actually show that.

    Thanks! I had one that had him smiling in the same pose, but they liked this one better. And the planking happened because I had all that space and just told him to get down. Turned out well though =)

    Thanks, that one actually got into the Red Bull highlights which is an area on their image service showing all the best pictures. Yea!

    Actually, that is the point with "Red Bull photos." They don't want the screaming, but more a subtle, "hey, cool shot, and look, has has a Red Bull" or something like that. Glad you like this one though, it was also made a highlight on the Red Bull Photofiles page =)
