my daughter is in drill team I am an amateur photographer how do I go about in having my name out there in taking pictures of the girls? should I talk to the drill team coach?
It's like anything else, you have to make a name for yourself, build a brand, then get that out to everyone. People have to know who you are, what you do and that do you it well.
I will tell you, it's very difficult for this type of photography but not impossible. Most people start it then give up because it takes a long time and a lot of work (in most cases) to get to the point where you're making regular (decent) money. I would say it's extremely difficult to make a living at it but you can make a little supplemental income.
