Same Location...Different Look...Different Model

Shot this yesterday in the same location as the "Football Grunge" shot I recently posted. Beauty dish above model, two 580EX Speedlights behind for rim. One additional strobe with red gel for slight coloring on back wall and shadows.

I like that first shot. Pretty model.

I like the first shot best, but the second is good as well, and it is always nice to have multiple varients. I had to look twice to make sure I thought they were the same person in both shots. Shows you how much lighting can chance appearances.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. Curious what pulls you to one photo over the other. Anyone care to share their opinion?

For a portrait shot, #1 is best in my opinion. The lighting is natural and does a good job of highlighting her features and skin tone. I always love the flowing hair look as well, and feel like it always helps highlight curves on a woman. #2 is a great picture as well, just a little more flat and etherial with the over exposure and black and white background. I guess i feel like #1 highlights all of the model where as #2 highlights her lips, eyes, eyelashes, and eyebrows and would make a better ad image then a portrait shot.
