Ephemeral Waterfalls

This is a 'right place, right time' shot, taken just after a gullywasher had passed through the Moab area. I love the short lived waterfalls created by draining rainwater but they don't happen often because, well, it doesn't rain often. Lucky weekend to have been down there.

Interesting place for waterfalls to be sure. Did you take any tighter shots on them? Looks like the one on left in particular had some interesting possibilities. Nice shot at any rate.

I didn't have any long lenses with me and it was getting dark and the waterfalls stop rather quickly so everything was stacked against me getting any closer. Even this shot is cropped a bit. I know exactly what you mean though, the left one has some interesting possiblilities. It would've been nice to have explored it further.

This is one of the most unlikely things to find in the red rock environment. It's pretty cool!
