Would consider an even steven swap for a 300 2.8 IS if you're in Canada.
Otherwise the border tax here would cost me $720 cdn (~$620 usd).

I would go for the 400, but the added weight and my needs on the track for a lighter load is what inhibits me from going in for the 400
