One of my galleries has suddenly re-arranged itself - why?

I have a gallery of 1842 images and they have suddenly re-arranged themselves seemingly at random. It almost looks as if somebody has gone in and done it on purpose.

How can this happen?

It will take me all night to re-arrange them as they were, if I can remember but I don't want to start doing so until this is investigated.

    I am re-arranging them now but this is by far the biggest issue I have ever had with Smugmug. The fact that a gallery can suddenly do this for no reason (or someone can access my site and do this maliciously) makes me feel extremely insecure about my site.

    Hi Laurence, we didn't do anything that would re-arrange your gallery, but that notwithstanding, I'm asking around.

    Thanks Andy. It was very strange. Pretty much every other picture had been moved down about 50 places which made correcting it fairly straight forward if extremely time consuming. I finally finished this morning. If it happens again though I will be heartbroken.
