Aperture library invisible

Hi. I've re-loaded Aperture on my computer and tried to see my Library (which is stored on an external hard drive along with the original raw photos). The computer SAYS it has the Library but I can't see anything. It's a brand new hard drive so I assume the files think it's a new computer. But, that shouldn't make a difference should it? I should be able to access that Library? Or do I have to re-import EVERYTHING? I may slit my throat. Any suggestions?

Images can be found in a package so you’ll need to use the right click/contextual menu (show package contents).

Ah, mystery solved thank you. When I installed Aperture from my CD I forgot to update and the library had been created in the updated version. Thanks.
