Pink Dawn

This is a photo I took at Upper Tipsoo Lake in Mount Rainier National Park. Usually for landscapes I'd love to see some clouds to add color and a little bit of interest to the shot, but on this morning there wasn't a cloud in the sky. There was, however, an incredible pink and purple glow around the mountain that reflected well off the lake. I also took a nice fall when walking off the ice sheet on the lake...I bet Ron (coscorosa) is still laughing at that one.

Hi Brett, it was nice to meet you up there! Cool photo. I don't know about Ron, but I'm certainly not laughing. Your fall made me extra careful getting off that icy lake.
