Honey bee

Spotted a honey bee walking round in circles on a leaf the other day. Did my normal trick of sticking a finger under it's nose and it walked on.
Got the wife to get me a bit of honey on a cocktail stick and put a spot on an aster flower. After a feed the bee still did not want to fly immediately. It did take off after a while circled my hand and then landed on it again but it did eventually take off, fly in circles and then head for home.

Lovely shots Brian . I've contemplated putting my finger out for the honey bees that we've recently had but most of the time they've been very active so not likely to be interested in my finger
