For those of you who have a physical studio let menask you this. What size is your actual shooting area? I'm thinking to get a good quality family portrait of say a family of 6 I would need about 120 square feet. Is that accurate?

120 sq.ft? Like a 10 by 12 ft room? or a 6 x 20 room, Fred?

You need space to do it correctly, and provide professional results. Sure many here can work magic, but what kind of an impression does cramming a family into a shoe box and asking them to smile leave them with.
Rent a studio, or take your studio on the road.
