    Yes but the lake will also be frozen solid and the force of freezing and thawing ice is enough to destroy any dock. I spotted this at an Estate Sale. This was their backyard. The house had been without residents for a couple of years as the owners were in the nursing home. I think the dock hadn't been pulled in for at least five years. I didn't go down there. Didn't trust it at all. . .
