I like the way the sun lights the mountains in the first one, although I would maybe prefer a little patch of light on the foreground as well.

The different layers of clouds in the second photo are very interesting, and the white cloud helps the craggy peaks stand out even more.

I love these! Gorgeous! The details are wonderful. So much texture! The clouds do set an amazing backdrop.

Excellent comps and great skies, Zoomer. The processing gives a 3D quality to them. I'll bet they'd look great in print.

I wish I could print everything out....somehow...they don't really seem real unless they are printed out .

Wow, these are some dramatic images. I just love #2, this composition makes you feel like we are right there surrounded by this semicircle of jagged mountain peaks. Did you have to hike much to get these shot, I'm not familiar with Wind River Mountains.

Thanks....yeah it is a bit of a grunt to get in there. Took me 9 hours but I missed the trail and ended up boulder hopping. I imagine normally 6-7 hours. It is some very steep climbing at 11000+ elevation....if not in shape it will get ya.

WOW that second shot is incredible! First one too. Well worth the steep climb. Were these shot during mid-day...if so, the B&W image really works.

Au contraire! I'm a huge B&W fan, especially with rocky landscapes. Very nice work! I agree, I miss printing everything.
