Spider shedding skin

Unfolded my bike cover this evening to put over my bike and spotted in very quickly fading light what looked like a mutant spider. Upon closer inspection it was a rather large spider shedding it's skin. It had been hidden in the folds of the cover.

Not wanting to disturb it, I took a few quick shots and gently folder it back over. Doesn't look like it's going to rain tonight so the bike can wait.

Took me a few shots to get them sharp. Light was almost non-existent and even when viewing through the viewfinder, I was finding it hard to see if the image was sharp so took the shot and as the flash went, checked how it looked through the viewfinder. If it needed a minor adjustment, made it and re-took it.

I am rather please with this find. Not often you see them part way through a shedding. In fact, it's the first one I've seen.
