Domain name ?'s

I'm buying a new domain name & wondered... Do you'll register publicly or privately &/or buy the 'Business Registration' along with the name? They seem to give valid reasons to buy those in addition to the name but is it just waste of money? I hate to waste money where its not necessary & value your feedback.

I just use the default and register publicly.

I've had many domain names over the years and they were all public. I've never paid to hide my information and I've never paid for a business registration. What registrar are you going through?

Buying from Go Daddy unless you highly recommend someone other than them.

I was just married August 27th & have to start the process of changing 'everything' it seems

I never add any of the private or unlisted or any other of the fruity options that most registrars seem to tack on. And I'll try to grab a godaddy coupon if I can while I'm at it.

Hi Cindy,

If you are going to use GoDaddy, you can make it easier on yourself and go through us to do it, that way it will be configured right (A record and CNAME) and you won't have to do as much. If you want to do that, go to http://www.smugmugdomains.com
